The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships are held every second year to give an opportunity for international competition between Pacific Rim countries. The host club for the 2003 Asia Pacific Championships was the Pine Rivers Memorial Bowls Club in Queensland, Australia.

The host club for the 2005 Asia Pacific Championships is Darebin International Sports Centre Melbourne, Australia.

Medal Winners and Overall Positions 

Separate men's and women's events were held in all four disciplines of singles, pairs, triples and fours. 

Teams of ten bowlers, five men and five women, plus managers represented each country. This was the tenth staging of the event. The following countries competed.
